Product delivery on schedule wins the first opportunity
Istanbul International Financial Center (IFC) is a 170-acre project with 45 million square feet of office, residential, retail, conference, hotel and recreational space. Upon completion, the project will house the leading corporate companies in the Turkish financial market, state-owned and private banks, and other related companies. With this landmark project, the Turkish government hopes to make Istanbul an international financial center.
For such an important national project, the customer in the global crane manufacturers to consider and negotiate, and finally selected Zoomlion. Mehmet, the customer’s project manager, said, “Zoomlion is committed to complete the delivery of equipment within 110 days after the order is confirmed.”
On October 23, 2020, two L760-50 large-tonnage movable jib towers ordered by the customer were shipped from Zoomlion’s Changde Tower Smart Factory and arrived in Turkey for delivery to the customer as scheduled. In the preliminary communication, Zoomlion also took the initiative to modify the plan for the customer, which effectively reduced the transportation cost and further increased the customer’s good feeling towards Zoomlion.
Excellent performance as the main force
As the saying goes, “the road is far away”, the performance of Zoomlion’s tower cranes is gradually highlighted in terms of wind resistance, stability and load performance as the project construction progresses.
The L760-50 movable arm tower crane is the star product of Zoomlion Heavy Industry, which has been tested in the market for a long time. According to the R&D engineer of Zoomlion, the independent tower height of this model can reach 51.45 meters, the maximum boom length is 60 meters, the maximum lifting weight is 50 tons, and the maximum lifting weight can reach 11 tons at the largest amplitude, with strong performance. After the product is stationed at the site, it has taken up the heavy responsibility of lifting the steel frame and precast concrete parts of the project and become the main force of the project construction.
In addition, the product also has the advantages of simple operation and convenient maintenance. In order to ensure the smooth delivery and installation of the product, Zoomlion sent three overseas service engineers to station at the site to follow up the service throughout the whole process. Even if the customer encountered difficult problems, the problems were solved with the help of the service engineers.
“During the installation, the site conditions could not follow the requirements of our drawings to install the product legs. According to the actual situation combined with the R&D requirements, we redesigned the technical plan and successfully completed the pre-burial of the legs. At the same time, the site yard space is small, can not stack all the components of L760-50, we re-planned the installation sequence and lifting plan suitable for the construction space according to the local conditions. In the end, the product installation was completed quickly”, said Zoomlion service engineer in charge of the project.
